Are you considering becoming a Yoga Instructor? Even if you have no desire to teach, would you like to increase your knowledge and expand your personal practice? Yoga Assets is offering a very special ONE MONTH INTENSIVE Yoga Teacher Training program starting April 6, 2023 that is open to everyone. In person in Anchorage, Alaska.
This 200-hour program will qualify participants for a 200-hour RYT registry status with Yoga Alliance, the premier measure of professional education in the yoga teaching community.
Our focus is on teaching yoga to the general population. Many yoga training programs will focus on teaching in the studio setting. This program will go beyond the traditional yoga studio environment and give you the tools and knowledge necessary to teach yoga that is approachable and accessible to ‘all fitness levels’ in gyms, community recreation centers, schools and corporate settings.
Here’s what a recent graduate had to say about this program (many more available upon request):
“Whether we were talking about technical details or the wonders of the human body and mind, it was always enjoyable. The dance parties were freeing, the real talk was cathartic, and the bonding was authentic. I cannot imagine a more emotionally fulfilling way to learn the tools to go out and change the world. I have so much respect for my trainers for creating such a welcoming environment for people to come together and learn about such formidable things—let’s be honest, this program wasn’t just about yoga, it was about life.” ~TS
This program will begin on April 6 and go through May 3, 2023
We will generally meet three days on, two days off from 8am to 6pm, for 30 days.
This program is offered at a substantial savings when compared to other Yoga training programs. All public health protocol will be strictly followed as per current best practices in Alaska during this time.

Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc). Here’s what one of our students had to say about Anatomy Lab:
“I’ve decided that as humans, everyone should be entitled to an 8 hour anatomy lab. My practice this morning, then bike ride has changed so much. I am more aware of my posture, positioning, and transitioning in both realms. It has also made me more conscious of drinking more water and eating nothing but clean healthy food. The environmental influences on our bodies are hard enough on us. (Those black spots on that guys lungs were from 2nd hand smoke and bad air) My body has been amazing and so giving for 39 years. I choose to give back to this amazing creation from now on. Namaste’ Body!!”
