“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” ~Thornton Wilder
As we approach the holiday season, our health begins to take a back seat to everything else. We do more eating on the run, spend more than we have, skip exercise and tell ourselves that in January, when things settle down, we will get back to “normal”. We would like to propose a new plan this year. How about if we pause before the craziness hits. Pause and reflect on where we are right now. Pause and reflect on what we have and on who we are. In this pause, as we practice gratitude, we realize that all is as it should be. Join Darlene Casanova and Denise Druce for a yoga and meditation retreat at the beautiful Westgate Resort in Park City. Overnight stay, wine and cheese reception and breakfast are included.
Early Bird Price $199 per person (based on double occupancy so bring a friend!)

Event Schedule:
Friday November 19
5 ~ 8pm – Expressing Gratitude With Music
Begin a Yoga Flow with Denise Druce, RYT, and move into an evening with Imagination Place co-owner Darlene Casanova, and find your voice. We all have a song in us that is longing to be sung. We will play with drumming, chanting, singing, art and moving with music.
8 ~ 9pm – Evening Social (wine, cheese, light hors d’ouvres)
Saturday November 20
7 ~ 8:30am – Expressing Gratitude Through Movement
Wake up with Morning Yoga to Open the Heart. Our body holds on to emotions that show up in physical symptoms. Movement with breath allows us to unlock the feelings that words can’t express.
8:30 ~ 10:30am – Breakfast and free time
10:30 ~ 2pm – Expressing Gratitude In Meditation
Meditation is really just about breathing, and being aware of our breath. In doing so, we quiet the mind, rest the body, and give the soul a space to soar. We will explore different types of meditation and how we can find our own style. We will also work on a beautiful piece of gratitude holiday art for the home, a reminder to pause and breathe. The retreat will end with personal stories and gifts of gratitude, and a powerful meditation for a peaceful end to 2010.
