Our teens are in crisis. We can all agree that the pre-teen and early teen years are a struggle. But never before have we seen the alarming rates of debilitating anxiety, stress, depression and suicide among our young people that we are seeing now.
Yoga Forward, a 501c3 located in Salt Lake City, Utah is answering the call. Our mission is to provide yoga and mindfulness practices to all people, all ages, in all areas within our reach. We are working with generous donors to make these programs accessible and affordable for teens in five states.
Our intention is to share tools, insights, evidence and inspiration with teens and tweens. They need us. We need them. And while the practices of yoga, mindfulness, breathwork and meditation can be life-changing, they can also be life-saving.
Introducing mindfulness to young people at an early age can help them learn healthy lifestyle habits and set the foundation for a fit future. This 8-Hour training will provide young people with the tools and information they need to live healthier, happier lives, and to be peer leaders in their communities.
