Hello There. I am Denise Druce, and I am Thriving with Stage Four Cancer. This has been a 10-Year journey for me. My mentor encourages me to “go to my wounds to find where I am called to serve”. I have been afraid and hesitant to step into the cancer community, but I am finally ready to hold shared space with others who are also walking this path. I am so excited to invite you to Thriving With Cancer: a Healing Yoga Retreat and celebration of the beginning of Spring.

- Healing Workshops: Learn how to support your body and mind during cancer treatment and recovery with mind-body and self-care practices.
- Healing Circle: A safe, supportive environment to share, listen, and connect with others who are experiencing their own journeys with cancer.
- Takeaways: A beautiful journal, eye pillow, and goody bag full of surprises.
- Follow Up: A community follow up zoom call to help all of us stay connected and engaged with our healing practices
- Recordings: Participants will receive a library of resources to help in your continued path of healing.
Location
Join us in a serene, peaceful environment in downtown Salt Lake City. Survivor Wellness has the mission of providing cancer wellness and integrative health care services and support for cancer survivors, their family members, caregivers and loved ones in a home-like setting. They are a cancer care community, a sanctuary in the heart of the city.
This retreat offers the perfect place to unplug and recharge.
About Your Instructor
I am a 40 Year veteran in the fitness industry, and have been a yoga teacher and yoga therapist for 25 years. In addition to my own lived experience with cancer, I am trained in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Yoga Therapy. I look forward to guiding you through this weekend with understanding, honesty, care, and sensitivity.
